Marcus Stake, Junior Payment Specialist, was asked three questions about the recruitment process and his journey so far here at Gears of Leo. Below are his responses to each one of those questions.

How was the recruitment process at Gears of Leo?

Definitely one of the fastest processes I’ve been in. The recruitment team was very efficient and managed to capture my interest throughout the entire process.

The communication was fast and to the point, answering any questions that I had and making sure that I had a clear understanding of what the company offered. One of the things that really stood out in the process was how engaged everyone was every step of the way.

What do you think about your journey so far at Gears of Leo?

Well, it has been an amazing journey so far. When you work in a company that is always moving forward, you learn to adapt and solve new things every day. In all honesty, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

After the first meeting with the team I had already decided that this energy and engagement was something I wanted to be a part of.

So, when I started, I was not surprised by the general mentality. It’s the type of workplace where you are encouraged to take your own decisions and know that you always have a team that will support you and help you out. It’s that sort of mindset that seeps through and influences everyone to keep moving forward.

What are you excited for in the future?

Lots of things! But what I’m most excited about in the future is to continue to evolve our product and technology in a company with a mind-set to continuously improve and deliver the best experience for the players.
